Draw - Throne o' Diablo T Shirt Concept

I am friends with the lovely lads in the band Throne o' Diablo and truly enjoy the music they produce. So while listening to them and messing around with my pencils, a while back, I got the idea of a "T Shirt of Terror". I decided from here that I would draw up a T Shirt for the band.

The one image that kept reoccurring was the idea of having something sharp stuck into my eye. From there I got the idea of having my eyeball actually tattooed. Give them a listen by clicking their name and you may get your own inspiration.

This is the work in progress images taken with my phone when I was working on them. I will post the final T Shirt design once I get a minute to redraw and ink it ;)

Finally got the colour and border sorted for my Zombie piece and here is what it looks like on T Shirt.

I really enjoyed messing around with this piece and like the simplicity of the final design. It is available on many different colours so pop over and have a look here.

Got round to adding some ink to the design and picked out a few bits to discard/highlight.

So Now that the Arrgghhhhh-topus design is finished I am moving on to another design. Here is the first Sketch of the new one. It is comes from the warm feeling the undead leave within me :P

This will be inked and then coloured in GIMP. Keep your eyes peeled!

So I finally finished the Arrghh-topus Tshirt design I have been working on for a while. The final product looks a little like this.

Doodle - Hunter S. Thompson

While I am still working away on the Aaarropus Tshirt I have also been working on reworking of an old design I done for a friend of mine. This revolves around Hunter S Thompson. I took this photo:

..and I worked on some Photoshop/Gimp manipulation, but didn't like the final result. So I got my HB pencils out and came out with this:

Working on how to display the text "I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, insanity or violence to anyone, but they've always worked for me". This leads me to the two following designs. One with the Gonzo emblem and one without.

So a few weeks ago I posted the birthing of an idea for a new design. The initial design was like this...

I have worked on it and here is the pre ink and colour version. Note added treasure, anchor, fixed sails, added mermaid, etc. ;)

Started doodling the other night while processing some work on my laptop. Came up with this! Going to work on it to add more detail and a bit more character.
