Monster-A-GoGo - Bmovies and Bombshells (Part 2)

So I have been really busy this time. The Bmovies and Bombshells night last year was a success and this year it seems that Monster-A-GoGo are trying to outdo themselves. In their efforts to do so I have upped my own game to give the most I can visually.

Having a thing for some of the classic Bmovies I decided to pull from the vast array of movie posters out there. You saw the one I based on the Piranha movie that I posted earlier in the week in my first Bmovies and Bombshells post.

SO without further ado here is the next poster in the set (I am aiming to have between 4 or 5 final posters ;) ) . This one draws from the classic Ed Wood movie "Plan 9 From Outerspace". Hope you like it.

Monster-A-GoGo - Bmovies and Bombshells

SO as some of my regular visitors shall be aware I do some poster artwork for Monster-A-GoGo. A fantastic Burlesque and Bands night ran out of Glasgow and Dundee by the ever so gallus Roxy Stardust

The next event is going to be a Bmovies and Bombshells type affair with dressing up fully encouraged!!

Indieminded feature part 2

One of my older designs available via redbubble has been picked up by the site Indieminded.com

Very chuffed that so many bits of my work are getting picked up by different people. Feels like I am doing the right thing :)

That is the design away to the printers. The £10 offer is over, but you can still get a hold of it for £15.
Postage in the UK is free, but other non-UK buyers will have to pay...each non-UK order will have a choice of postage choices.

All work and no play makes Mik a dull boy

So I have been working hard at my bread and butter job making sure I can pay the bills (ensuring a warm, dry place for my and my son to sleep). But in doing so I have been neglecting my artwork and other projects.

Well I have now come to the conclusion I need to prioritize a little more time for the "fun stuff".

Currently I am in talks with a company in America (Chi Rho Clothing) to supply a design similar to those I have done for SOTX Clothing. This would end up being a collaboration piece, but would, as an end result see me getting yet another two in America.

On the subject of SOTX Clothing. There is currently a wee campaign up on indiegogo to raise £500 towards printing costs to get all 3 designs printed and out there in the public.
